Where can you see prehistoric paintings in France?
Answer. In decorated caves, for example the Lascaux cave (Dordogne) or the Chauvet cave (Ardeche).

These caves contain paintings of animals made tens of thousands of years ago. The Lascaux cave is the best known. The original caves are closed to the public to protect them, visitors see replicas.
