At school, what are parents forbidden from doing?
Answer. Entering the school without authorisation, or threatening, insulting or hitting a teacher or a staff member.
Entrer dans l'école sans autorisation, ou menacer, insulter ou frapper un enseignant ou un membre du personnel.
Parents cannot enter the school as they please, they need authorisation, otherwise it is an offence punishable by a fine. Threatening a teacher is also punished, with up to three years in prison and a 45,000 euro fine (Article 433-3 of the Criminal Code). The answer choices are not published here, so pick the one describing entering without authorisation or violent behaviour toward staff.
The official text that proves it
« Le fait de pénétrer ou de se maintenir dans l'enceinte d'un établissement scolaire, public ou privé, sans y être habilité en vertu de dispositions législatives ou réglementaires ou y avoir été autorisé par les autorités compétentes est puni de l'amende prévue pour les contraventions de la 5e classe. »
Entering or remaining within the grounds of a school, public or private, without being entitled to do so under legislative or regulatory provisions or without having been authorised by the competent authorities, is punishable by the fine set for fifth class offences.
