A foreign national with a regular immigration status who has no job must register with France Travail. This public agency helps them find a job or training.
The official text that proves it
« Chaque personne étrangère qui est en situation régulière (c’est-à-dire qui a un titre de séjour, qui est réfugiée, ou qui bénéficie de la protection internationale), et qui n’a pas de travail, doit être inscrite à France Travail. »
Every foreign national with a regular status, meaning someone who holds a residence permit, is a refugee, or benefits from international protection, and who has no job, must be registered with France Travail.
