What does the right to demonstrate mean?
Answer. The right to gather on public roads to express an opinion together, in a peaceful way.
Le droit de se rassembler sur la voie publique pour exprimer ensemble une opinion, de façon pacifique.
Demonstrating is a collective freedom. A demonstration must be declared to the authorities in advance, and it can be banned if it threatens public order.
