Where can you take a broken dishwasher?
Answer. To the déchetterie, the local recycling centre (or have the store take it back when you buy a new appliance).
À la déchetterie (ou le faire reprendre par le magasin quand on achète un appareil neuf).
A large household appliance does not go in the bin or out on the pavement. You take it to the déchetterie, or the retailer takes it back for free when you buy an equivalent new appliance. Some communes also offer a bulky waste collection service.
To be confirmed against the four options shown on exam day, which the ministry does not publish.
