It is prohibited to throw waste in the street or in shared spaces. It is a minor offense, punished by a fine. A bottle should be thrown in a trash can or a sorting bin.

« privilégier les transports en commun et le vélo ; respecter les espaces communs et ne pas y jeter de déchets ; participer à des actions locales pour l’environnement (exemple : nettoyage collectif). »
Favor public transportation and cycling, respect shared spaces and not throw waste there, take part in local environmental actions (for example, a community cleanup).
