Undeclared work is illegal. An undeclared employee does not contribute toward unemployment insurance or a pension, and is not protected in case of a workplace accident.

« Le travail non déclaré est interdit par la loi. Travailler ou faire travailler de manière non déclarée peut sembler pratique ou économique. »
Undeclared work is forbidden by law. Working or hiring someone without declaring it can seem convenient or cost saving.
