What is the rule on contraception?
Answer. It is a right for everyone, including minors, without needing a partner's permission.
Elle est un droit pour tous, y compris les mineurs, sans autorisation du partenaire.
Each person decides on their own whether or not to have a child. Contraception is accessible without a partner's agreement. Since 2022, it has been free for all women up to and including age 25. For minors, it can also be anonymous.
The official text that proves it
« Chaque personne du couple est individuellement libre de choisir d’avoir ou de ne pas avoir d’enfant . La contraception et l’IVG sont accessibles sans autorisation du partenaire. »
Each person in a couple is individually free to choose whether or not to have a child. Contraception and abortion (IVG) are accessible without a partner's authorisation.
